What were the best Super Bowl commercials of 2016? The funniest? The cleverest?

Most brands played it safe this year, but a few big game ads were still memorable thanks to celebrity appearances (Steve Harvey, Christopher Walken) and cute animals (wiener dogs, marmot). Several companies decided to stand out by being weird, such as Mountain Dew Kickstart's sort-of-terrifying #puppymonkeybaby and Willem Dafoe as Marilyn Monroe (yes, in that dress) for Snickers.

So much for NARAL's Doritos complaints!

Christopher Walken, he wins, hands down.

Mostly because I didn't feel ill for one reason or another, Nauseating inducing CGI or the Knowledge that the Quicken Home Loans will cause a another crash in the future.

I can’t come up with even ONE “best Super Bowl commercial” much less 20.

I watched 75% of the game. The ones I saw were repulsive. I saw a Tarzan skit about an hour before the game which I thought was funny.

I agree; I liked the Christopher Walken commerical. His character is unique.

I also liked the Dan Marino/Alec Baldwin Amazon commercial.

“How many championships has Dan Marion won?”

“How many Oscars has Alec Baldwin won?”

The Dorito’s ultrasound ad had everyone in my house laughing hysterically. Even my 92 year old mother. None of the other ads had anywhere near the same impact.

My favorite Super Bowl ad was announcing a new Jason Bourne movie. I can’t wait to see it!

The problem with almost every other commercial in the Super Bowl is that they’ve already been on YouTube and I’ve seen them.

I did get a hoot out of the Doritos ultrasound commercial, though.

So Budweiser spent their budget on Amy Schumer and what’shisname? Where were the Clydesdales?

Prius Car Chase

Yes. It was nice to see one that couldn’t have been mistaken for a Bernie Sanders add.
