I don’t get anything from Gaga’s vocals either. She always sounds like she is on Broadway — emotionless, generic and overly theatrical.

All the wild stuff is a show. She's an entertainer. She sings what her audience wants to hear.

Works pretty well too.

She's 29 years old and worth $275M, and as you saw tonight, if she's a mind to, she can sing as well as or better than any of them.

I thought she was great.
