0.12 degree Celsius (0.2 Fahrenheit) since 1750

0.12 degrees over 266 years? Really? I would argue that 0.12 degrees is well within the measurement error range for such a situation.

But the worst thing here is that I'm not even allowed to make that argument. It's settled science, and so it cannot be questioned, dontcha know?

Never mind the unquestionable accuracy of 18th-century thermometers. There was no metrology problem back then, obviously.
