Chart comparing 2008 market behavior with 2016. But it is still too early in the year and 2016 may not repeat the stock market of 2008.
Trouble maker,
Can’t you see green shoots aplenty!

I agree, that chart shows a bad trend pattern...
Potential crash Much worse this time, in light of US Fed Res and other country’s govt’s discovering fiat money printing, multiple rounds of QE, negative interest rates, permitting national debt to skyrocket no longer stimulates our house of cards economy.
Well, if things get really bad, at least we’ll get three hots and a cot at Camp FEMA ;n)
Be well fellow red listed FReepers; n)
This time it’s different.
Hahahahahaha.
well done! [saving link for investing thread...]
permanent new high plateau; smart money snapping up bargains
Obama knows it’s coming and has tried to forestall it long enough so he doesn’t get the blame. Made to order for a President Trump or a President Cruz. Of course, Trump would just declare bankruptcy and Cruz would get a loan from Goldman Sachs.
Now, that's funny...
i’ll see ya there! :)
who’s gonna dig the tunnel?
not worth the limited upside to stay in market this year.
told wife to move her 401k. 20k loss later, she’s is looking into it.
13 thousands by the end of the year, if we’re lucky.
Move it to where? At least in 2008 cd’s were paying 4 percent or so if you shopped you could find them. There is nothing, zero, nada for us retirees now.
Good job! Saving this to show a friend.
“Well, if things get really bad, at least weâll get three hots and a cot at Camp FEMA”
Don’t forget the “showers”.
It worked so well last time, let’s do it again! Make things so bad that Obama has to stay.
i know. she is 48 so making nothing for a year is doable. not so much if one wants return
But unemployment is at 4.9% and going down, so happy days are here again. Right? s/
