For several different reasons.

There is a generational difference in how much factual history each has been taught/knows.

There is also a BIG generational difference in how one sees the world, this nation, actions, speech, and what one finds funny.

For some, PC has invaded and stopped their ability to reason, knows what a REAL man is, and what the rules of behavior should or should not be.
