Clearly what they need in Chicago is to enact some gun control laws. It is shocking that Chicago has no gun control laws. It is all the fault of those Republicans that have controlled Chicago for the past 50 years.
Chicago is controlled by Democrats and has strict gun control laws? How can that be?
A few years ago, during an Olympics year, I recorded an event which led into Rachel Maddow’s show. I heard her say “San Francisco is what happens when liberals run cities, so why are conservatives so afraid (or something to that degree).” I guess Detroit, Chicago, etc. have never been influenced by liberals.

So are Burlington VT and Portland OR. So is San Francisco. So is San Diego. So is Boston. So is Portland ME.
All very pleasant and safe. Gun control laws all over the place, from free (Vermont) to totalitarian (California).
