When I was in the OB ward to have my baby a sales rep was showing the nurses one of the new delivery beds...IIRC a nurse told me it could handle up to 500 lbs and was much wider than the previous standard size. She said they are needing them more and more.
Just think-Michael Moore is becoming the norm...
Our cots on the ambulance used to hold 250lbs. Then they went up to 500lbs. Even that was not enough, they hold 750lbs. now. Sad state of affairs.
