Sorry, but I’m not into dresses.
The only ‘outfit’ on which I can comment is Susan Sarandon’s choice.
I thought she was more appropriately dressed for an episode of Jerry Seinfeld than for a lavish awards show.
(I also thought she looked great for a 69 year old).
No picture???
I thought this was going to poke fun at Susan Sarrandon and her 42 Longs.
IMDB has good photos. Did not see the show, but assume this is it. She looks beautful, and I never thought of her that way before. http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1698227200/nm0205626?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_evt_7
I remember Tom Cruise and his pants.
Not really a style that appeals to me, but at least it's tasteful and appropriate.
-Susan Sarandon-
I do watch that show Fashion Police from time to time when they’re showing and interviewing guests on the red carpet.
She did look nice.
Perhaps I’m old fashioned, but I remember watching the award shows when I was very young and I don’t think any of the so-called current stars (quite frankly I don’t know who most of them are) can hold a candle to Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Lauren Bacall, etc. for style, grace, elegance and acting. From the men’s side, there’s Cary Grant and others (never saw them in an awards show but always liked Bogie and Bergman).
Just my $.02
Very lovely. The color was a great complement to her skin tone. Violet for Viola. How about that!
Of course!
I only tune into these shows (when I do) for the dresses and hair and shoes and jewelry, etc. I couldn’t care less about who wins what.
I agree with you about her dress. It was beautiful. I LOVE that color. Only persons with darker skin looks good in that color. Melanin challenged persons, like myself, look awful in that color. It makes them look cadaver-ish. So I’m glad to see someone who can wear that beautiful color carry it off. The structure of the dress was also nice.
What about the Film Actors’ Guild awards?
I am not well versed in the fashion vernacular but I analyzed the article and now can make a correlation between sagging globes though I can not completely make the transition to golden.. all the globes coming out of that dress were more “mocha”
