The 'Call to Action' from the Pacific Patriots Network is expected to reach full fruition today as supporters of the farmers and ranchers of Harney County arrive in the largest numbers yet.
A rally is being held in Burns to tell the FBI to get out and call for the resignation of local officials like Sheriff Dave Ward and Judge Stephen Grasty, who are seen by locals as the enablers of the federal land control program.
Later this year if a 'national monument' is declared on federal land in Harney County as is planned, some 400 ranchers stand to be wiped out.
There is deep anger over the killing of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum last Tuesday.
Shawna Cox was one of those arrested at the roadblock and was in the vehicle with LaVoy Finicum.
Shortly after her release from jail on Saturday, she gave for the first time her account of what happened on the "Free Capitalist Radio" broadcast.
Cox agreed with the account of Victoria Sharp, also in the vehicle but not arrested, that law enforcement used hundreds of rounds of ammunition when they shot Finicum.
And what about the situation at the refuge itself where the occupation began over four weeks ago (Saturday January 2nd).
"OregonLive" published a story last night headlined: "Uncertainty builds after last occupiers fall silent online".
Most of the communications channels for the four people have fallen silent.
What's next for the four people still there (Sean Anderson, Sandy Anderson, David Fry and Jeff Banta)?
The jailed Ammon Bundy has called on those remaining to leave, his lawyer says that's all he can do.
The four themselves are fearful of an FBI doublecross, as happened with others who walked out of the refuge earlier.
Convoys of law enforcement regularly roll in and out of the blockade six miles from the refuge including armored vehicles. "Shift Changes" no doubt in the siege that continues and the standoff that continues, its not over yet, in Oregon.

I heard on the Truckers Radio Network [700WLW, 12 - 5am eastern time; you can stream it from the internet] last night (really this am) that cell phone and internet to the 4 had been cut.

If you watched the video, note you won’t see many, if any muzzle flashes. Even the flashbangs are muted. However you can see snow kicked up by impacting rounds on the truck near the roofline and at the point where the show is up the side of the pickup. There are only a few of those, but it is likely that steady fire from multiple weapons was maintained for a while.
I think she meant that hundreds of rounds were used during the entire confrontation.
I think politics is much more important to political operatives than any kind of civil disobedience or protest or rebellion etc. over wrongs being done like those done to the Hammonds and the federal land grabs out West.
John F. Kennedy told Martin Luther King to tone down protest, go slow, disassociate himself from extremists around him (there were Communists like Bayard Rustin, arrested for mens room cruising and so on).
The Democrat Party had to win the next election and it couldn’t if JFK was forced to push civil rights laws that would offend the white Southerners who supported the Dems.
I think there are those out there who want this story to go away so it doesn’t hurt the Republican Party in 2016 just like Kennedy wanted Martin Luther King to do away so the Democrats could win the next election in 1964.

Those PPN-Idaho III Percent folks are supposed to be ‘mediating’ with the FBI, but details are hush, hush other than the fact that the patriot groups feel lied to and double crossed by the FBI when some who came out earlier were arrested.

Politics and politicians can’t handle protest movements with uncertain endings that the media deems ‘controversial’ and involve ‘militants’.
JFK tried to shut down MLK’s protests all the time ending up using the FBI, yeah the same organization on the ground in Oregon right now, to spy on King’s sexual encounters.
After JFK died, the Johnson FBI sent MLK an audio ‘sex tape’ around this time in the presidential election year, 1964. The tape was a way to tell King to quiet down protest.
The Civil Rights Movement decided to curtail protest in July 1964 to help Johnson, who had just delivered them the Civil Rights Act.
The protests would resume in 1965.

As time passes, the FBI and the Governmental Agencies will be manned more and more by kill happy individuals to whom human life, other than theirs, means nothing. They will kill whom they are ordered to kill and load in boxcars those whom they are ordered to load into boxcars. No questions asked. Why is nobody mentioning that the real reason for the standoff is that the land is being sold off to the Russians (Uranium One) and Hillary is the deal broker ?
