You haven’t paid attention when people do this on public universities all of the time?

You haven’t paid attention to Occupy Wallstreet protesters setting up shop, for years, in public places?

Universities usually, and the OWS specifically, were on private property.

Even though the private property owner of the OWS park that was seized did not press charges, hundreds of the squatters were arrested and charged anyway.

Neither university protests or the OWS involved federal law enforcement, but local authorities.
