I hope Jeb and Christie and Kasich stay in through Florida to keep Rubio at bay.

I hope Sanders trounces Hillary in Iowa and New Hampshire maybe bringing in Bloomberg to split the liberal vote.

You betcha. It's about damn time the liberal and RINO votes got split. They've been working that strategy against the patriotic right for far too long.

The good and decent citizens of America (who make up the largest plurality in the nation) haven't had political representation, or a President who gives a damn about us, in ages.

That alone, explains the strong appeal of a candidate like Donald Trump, who is a complete outsider, and a non politician. The people have put faith and trust in a never ending string of public 'servants' who've let us down and back stabbed us so consistently, that nearly ALL trust and faith in the breed has been lost.

Commentators have called this an "insurgency election", and they're right. Ideologically based politics is at the bottom of the pile in this election, because most people understand that the ship is on fire and taking on water. We need a captain who can think on his feet while giving the commands necessary to save us.

While a significant number of voters on the right are still fixated on ideological correctness, many more see that our entire system of government is fubar. They see that it's going to take a Boss of uncompromising determination and strength, to get in there and straighten it all out, before we can have the sort of orderly process where an ideologically correct conservative can run the show.

I worry about comments like yours. I don’t want a Boss, there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians as it is. I have this sinking feeling that von Papen and Ludendorf were under similar delusions about Herr Hitler.

To my mind, there is too much about the Donald we don’t know, and what we do know is sketchy at best. I’m not looking for a saint, but, since when did we become willing to nominate a man who seems to have no moral compass? Since when did single payer health care become a policy of conservatives? Have you ever heard DT give a coherent explanation of the role of the executive? What departments will he cut, how many federal employees will he terminate?

I am glad that Trump is in the race. The attention that he has brought to immigration is laudable and has shifted the discussion. I would hold my nose and vote for him if he wins the nomination, but a prayer would be on my lips.

I am sure that I will be flamed. The attacks on anyone not taking the Trump jump here are nauseating. I have read posts wondering what the”Boss” will do to those who didn’t toe the line. That is scary crazy talk.

I will add one last observation. No plan ever survives first contact with the enemy. I will vote judging a person by their character, as that is my best guide for how they would handle a crisis. As always, my first question about any candidate is their position on the ongoing genocide of the unborn. If a candidate cannot recognize this as the single most important moral question of our time, then I have to question their whole worldview.
