Hey: Bushidō, (武士道?) literally meaning “the way of the warrior”, is a Japanese word for the way of the samurai life, loosely analogous to the concept of chivalry.

I know but It was, with Shintoism, kind of a forbidden topic following WWII.

I'm just guessing but I imagine its now the Japanese equivalent of the Confederate flag.

Yes it is sorta roughly analogous to chivalry with Knight = Bushido with Samurai , i think.
