Once you give to anything, your contact info takes on a zombie life of its own, being sold and passed from one group to the next. I replied to an RNC mailer years ago telling them where they could “insert” their organization. And yet I still get mailers from groups that I’ve never heard of.
I sent them a detailed invoice a few years back requesting my money back. I have not received a piece of mail since.
