Megan is costing FOX NEWS 6 million dollars in revenue.

Interesting to see where that shoe will drop. Either Megan will be dropped as a moderator, or she will have to start looking for a new job. No CEO can look 6 million dollars in revenue in the face and then say goodbye to it even as a bad memory. This is going to stick in Roger Ailes craw. Roger wanted a showdown on stage but he got it off stage, and Roger loses whether he keeps Megan or not.

“Let the folks who worship celebrity go watch something else.”

We’ll be watching the “celebrity” part of Trump raising money for our Vets. Sometimes celebrity comes in mighty handy, like when raising funds for a good cause, doesn’t it. You go watch a stage full of losers, and enjoy yourself.

Crybaby?

You guys keep tossing that around like it really is what anyone is remotely thinking.

Finally someone standing up to these biased debate mods, and THIS is the reaction some of you have?

Fine if you’re favorite candidate still wants to play ball like some snip, bit will still go whining about media bias, but most of us are glad to see one guy with some stones.

-- I still think Trump will find a reason to reverse course ... --

I don't see any conceivable way, without massive loss of face. He's issued a statement that asserts he will not attend, etc. He can't withdraw that as being an intemperate remark. He's made a command decision. He has to follow through. Even if it's the wrong decision, it affects only one debate, and whatever primary vote "fallout" flows from absenting himself. I think the command decision increases his share of the ballots. But even if it costs him votes, his losses would be even higher if he reversed a command decision in the course of a few days. "Indecisive" he does not want to appear (channeling Yoda)

Yes, said so in his written statement. Yet another reason that his "no show" in the debate is carved in stone.

News Flash - donnie is not all that. I’ll be happy to watch the debate without seeing his second grade faces he makes at Jeb.

Trump raises money for the vets. Tells the media to shove it.

These other guys go and kiss the media’s ring hoping for a pat on the head.

Weaklings.

This is what people wanted GOP candidates to do for years. Now they, hoping to score a cheap political point, root for the biased media!

-—so the show can go on or will they host a debate that will have virtually no viewership.-—

No viewership...? Seriously...?

They might even get more viewership since conservatives might now tune in so their candidates will have some airtime...instead of the debate is no longer a bash Trump event...

Ever consider the GOPe has Trump where they want him now...?

History is replete with candidates who imploded because of one debate. He has given his opponents two hours to trash him with no response. All this BS about Fox being against him is ludicrous. His mug is a regular on every Fox show ...except Megan Kelly...and that’s because he has refused the invitation to come on and discuss it.

refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter! 6:44 AM - 27 Jan 2016

How very Presidential of him.

-- Acting like a crybaby isn't very appealing and show a certain childlike tendency that isn't exactly presidential. --

FoxNews showed a certain childlike tendency too, with it's snarky remarks. That's not exactly responsible journalism.

Many people will see Trump's reaction to be decisive and justified. Others, such as yourself, will view his reaction as petty and "chicken."
