There’s A New Lawsuit Challenging Ted Cruz’s Eligibility To Be President

The plaintiff, Walter L. Wagner, asserts that Cruz is not natural born as defined by the Constitution because only one of Cruz's parents (his mother) was a U.S. citizen at his time of birth in Canada and because, he alleges, their intention at Cruz's birth was "to have residency or citizenship in a foreign (non-U.S.A.) country."

In 2008, Wagner filed suit in federal court against the U.S. Department of Energy and European Center for Nuclear Energy Research (CERN), alleging that the Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator might create a black hole that could destroy Earth -- and that the governmental entities were covering up this risk.

If one of the states refuses to place Cruz on the ballot, then Cruz may bring a suit seeking a remedy. That’s the only way that the courts will agree to consider this question. This guy will get nothing but some publicity.

Same here. In all truth, I’m disappointed that Cruz didn’t handle this issue up front. It has hurt him and continues to do so.

Me too. I want it decided. Cruz should do whatever it takes to get it resolved. He could...

• Petitioning the courts to decide the lawsuits on their merits instead of dismissing for lack of standing
• Maybe he can still take Trumps advice and ask for a declaratory judgement, though I think the courts will defer to the lawsuits at this point.

Of course I want Cruz to sue Rubio too. Rubio's anchor babie status isn't natural born citizen either in my opinion. And Rubio is trying to Obama his way out of the lawsuit filed against him, by claiming the plantiff doesn't have standing.
