The “Cam hate” is a result of being raised right. Cam Newton is an arrogant a-hole with an ego that rivals that of Obama/Bubba.....
His sort of stupid bravado is awesome for a guy like Ric Flair, but really stupid and off-putting in the NFL, ESPECIALLY considering the Panthers are winning because of their Defense and their Offensive line.
I truly hope he gets embarrassed in the Super Bowl.

Maybe you’re a tad over invested in sports personalities?

You’ve been in mourning for the Cowboys for exactly 20 years now. Shouldn’t you have already croaked by now?

{Cam Newton is an arrogant a-hole with an ego}

I know, right?

That whole thing where whenever he's asked about a win or if he's going to be MVP and then he says things like, "This is a team sport. I don't want to talk about that stuff. Any success I may have is due to my teammates. I'm so proud of my teammates." (paraphrased, but he said it last night)

or this:
SPARTANBURG, S.C.-Cool scene at Panthers today: Cam Newton walks off camp field, signs+poses for photos, sees a young man in wheelchai.r Cam takes off both shoes, autographs one, hands shoes to young man, greets him, wishes him well, walks on in socked feet. Man beams.

or this:
What a jerk, right? Hate much?

I would bet Denver is going to run into a buzzsaw just like they did in the 2014 SB and the Panthers’ last two opponents did this year.

Panther spread? Is that as good as chicken spread of deviled ham spread?

If all you “Cam Haters” are so repulsed by his post touchdown antics, get your teams to keep him out of the end zone.

Yeah, because the NFL is the "No Fun League", heaven forbid that somebody actually has fun out there.

Cam Newton is a future O.J. Simpson. Guaranteed.

Could happen. But if Denver can survive the first quarter in decent shape, then I think it's "Game On!"

...and Hitler loved puppies....
Apologies to Godwin, but a few good deeds doesn’t change the fact: Cam Newton is a narcissist and a thieving punk with an entitlement complex....get over it, some people don’t like the punk and never will NO MATTER HOW MUCH the media or his fanboys try to shove him down our throats.
BTW, that whole “hate” thing is juvenile...It is a ghetto term that was popularized as a mean of eschewing personal responsibility and deflection when faced with someone calling the “hatee” on their bullisp....

For years I was mad at Cam for screwing UF over, but I think he’s grown up.

Pretty hard to do, his Offensive line is one of the best. Newton could be replaced by any number of the QB’s in the league and the Panthers would still be having the same success.

The Denver D Will have to compensate for Cam’s mobility. Brady is pretty stationary in the pocket but Cam can run the ball. It should be an interesting match up. I think the tight end Olsen holds the key for Carolina.

got it...you’re either an Alabama fan or a Ducks fan. Or maybe the Panthers beat your team like a rented mule this year. So sorry.

Oh and the corollary to Godwins law...he who brings Hitler up first just lost the argument.

Here’s a question for you. How would you like your entire life judged by everything you did when you were 21 years old?

They had a couple of decent runs that were knocked out with unfortunate injuries and stuff. But yeah, it has been hard.

It is in my nature to be a homer and I grew up in Dallas. So, it’s Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars and Rangers for me - for better or worse.

It has been a struggle in the Jerry Jones era, even in the good times. Two thirds of the triplets he inherited from Landry. I never forgot that. But he did it seems.

And when the Jerry Jones and Cowboys crap becomes too unbearable, I just spend more of my Sundays in the lawn, my garden or on the golf course.

At this rate, I could end up a scratch golfer and need to open a produce stand. :-)

I was glad to see Manning beat pretty boy Brady, but Manning isn’t nearly as threatening a quarterback as he was 10 years ago. My first thought, Carolina by 14.

Maybe not with his arm, but he is still the best decision-making QB there is.
