I agree gator, its something I notice as well sometimes, I just think some of them want to be recognized by folks and feel entitled to it though to be honest most in our world will never be recognized like they are but we do not cry, we accept it.

Also I noticed that there were no actors of Korean or Japanese background that were nominated, do they cry, no they don’t.

Excellent point!! Except for a few that I know and like, I certainly don't care what blacks think of me. But then that applies to white people, too. I'm more concerned with what I think of them.

That's exactly the point that blacks are making when saying they will boycott the Oscars, and I don't agree. Segregation isn't something that will help the nation. Unless the Oscars are explicitly declared to be a "whites only" award, they deserve to be called on nonsense like the fact that Sylvester Stallone is nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in 'Creed', but Michael B. Jordan, the young black man who starred as Creed in in the film, is not - I saw the film, Stallone did fine, but Jordan did better. The Oscars and Hollywood in general are run by a bunch of liberals, and there are no bigger racists than liberals.
