You are correct to be concerned.
He can do a lot of damage in his remaining year.
He has been successful in his goal of destroying American excellence.
It may not be possible to undo his harm.
I hope that he is arrested at the airport before he can abscond to his new villa in Bahrain or wherever.
Then the trial.
Then the penalty phase.
