Just a thought on the Republican primaries.
There wasn’t anyone that caught my eye until Trump announced, and from that day on it’s been 100% all the way and will be ...
I supported Ted Cruz. I still support both of them. I wish they’d quit fighting.
Believe it or not, Cruz. Dr. Carson was 2nd.
I also had no candidate whom I could support!!!!
GO TRUMP!!!!
“I supported Ted Cruz. I still support both of them. I wish theyâd quit fighting.”
I am 100% with you. I was hoping they would team up together as POTUS and VP.
Cruz and he’s my second pick.
Second only because he’d need money from the GOPe to advance and Goldman Sachs.
I’d prefer Cruz as VP to crack heads in Congress. Or SCOTUS.
Rubio was for Scammesty. Deal breaker.
Christie hugged Obama and helped him days before the election. I’d still consider him for AG. But would never vote for him for any office.
Jeb is GOPe.
Rand Pail is nope.
Really wasn’t all that interested. Had no one I thought could win the general.
All in for Jeb! What a shame, such a nice guy, true leader, charismatic and energetic as a turtle.
I’ll vote for Cruz, but be quite content with Trump inevitably winning.
This.
I think Scott Walker. For me I know it was Scott Walker.
Carson for Surgeon General. Nice guy and glad he’s out there for us.
I’m sick of the Trump Criz Wars. Wish they’d chill out. Iowa is one race and rarely picks a winner. Both sides are throwing too much dirt too early.
I would have been a Cruz supporter, though disappointed with his dodging statements on amnesty and not thinking he’d have a chance to win the primary, let alone the general.
Then I was in the Trump camp for months. But with Cruz’s strengthening of his amnesty position, worries about some of Trump’s conservative resolve, and distaste for his continued style of insult, I now consider myself back in the Cruz camp—despite my distaste for his slickness.
All told, I’ve gone from initial disappointment that the GOP had so many waffly, pro-amnesty candidates running to an unexpected cornucopia of my top two choices at the top of the polls.
Both Trump and Cruz have strengths and weaknesses (which is why I long liked the Trump/Cruz ticket), but I think we’ll be very fortunate to get either of them.
Now, a Trump/Cruz ticket. - tom
I was for Scott Walker, wanting a conservative with experience as a governor more than legislators with no real executive experience.
"There simply was no such thing as music before One Direction!"
Ditto! I also liked Carson and Rubio but beyond that now. Still believe Carson is a good man, Rubio - not so much.
I supported Ted Cruz ever since his election to Senate in 2012.
I shifted my support as soon as Trump joined, as growing up in a family business, I believe that a business person has the best experience and ability to be the CEO of the country.
I had been a support of Cruz as a VP since Trump’s announcement, but after recent vetting and childish nonsense from other “Conservatives” who support Cruz, I have moved away from Cruz as VP.
Cruz is the most constitutional based candidate and most intellectual. Carson is the most honest, but needs to lose the idiot whispering bad advice in his ear. Trump is stirring up the silent majority, but has no substance to his campaign. He is just a bunch of one liners and insults, even if he is a good guy.
