and how will Cruz do this when he can’t put together a coalition to actually do anything?
What has Cruz sponsored spearheaded and/or accomplished thus far in the US Senate?
Who are his legislative allies he needs to be successful?
You think just because he says what you want to hear that it is actually going to happen?
Being Captain of the debate team doesn’t mean the team is going to follow you into battle
My impression of Cruz is his brilliance is appreciated far more by campaign supporters than by anyone in any postion of power to help get anything done
If you want the Executive Office stagnation on steroids of the Bush43 2d term, then by all means, support Ted
We are so lucky to have such a strong leader as Trump running for President. We haven’t had this since Reagan. Both of them are the same. The similarities are astonishing.
He gave them donations didn't he, so of course they will work as the uni-party leader to get leftist things done.
Except that Trump is a NY liberal who has repeatedly expressed his support for liberal causes.
Trump’s “manhood” is threatened by the likes of Rosie O’Donnell and Megyn Kelly. He’ll send ISIS a twitter rant... That’ll fix ‘em!
Trump/Cruz
Brash/Nasty
what a combo
If morality is nastiness, then I am nasty as well.
“Cruz is the only one who will deport them and NOT let them come back.”
You know very well that Cruz never has any intention of deporting any aliens. HIS WORDS. His recent flops don’t count. Get me some links during his career before this campaign.
“Cruz is the only one who will deport them and NOT let them come back.”
By handing out Teddy Bears to the illegals at the border? I don’t think so.
Cruz has always supported enforcing the law, which includes deportation.
It makes no sense to allow Trump to hand the country to the Democrats by legalizing these millions of illegals.
It is Insane to allow Trump to give complete control to the Democrats, which his touch back amnesty will do by bringing in Millions of New Democrat Voters.
Cruz has promised to deport and not let them back in.
“The temporary work visa program through which Trump’s companies have sought the greatest numbers of workers, H-2B, brings in mostly workers from Mexico.”

Trump’s companies handing out work visas to import more low skilled laborers. Guess he figured out those Polish illegal immigrants that bult Trump Tower didn’t work out so well.
"Getting something done" requires going along with Power's carefully constructed framework of lies.
As President, Cruz would have a very hard time "getting something done" because Power would act to silence him in any way they could.
As President, Cruz would be a Man of Principle. Power would make sure he meets a Nixonian end, because no man - however gifted - can overcome our vast army of Gramscian internal enemies by himself.
As President Trump might be able "get something done" once in a while by outsmarting or talking right over Power, much the way Ronald Reagan did.
As President, however, to endure long in office, Trump will also have to make Power think he is secretly on their side and throw Power a bone once in a while to pull that off. This will get him branded a RINO during his first year.
As President, however, Trump can gather enough popular support to claim a public mandate for his decisions. Not one of the other candidates in either party has any chance of doing that.
Trump will not be able return America to greatness nor to Constitutional government, much less to a conservative philosophy of governance. At best he can frustrate the socialists for the next four or eight years. But right now, that seems like the best option on the table.
Trump will make deals with Democrats and RINO’s. Not what we need at this tipping point in the country. Trump would
make the sort of deals McConnell, Boehner and Ryan have, it would be a disaster, but Trump is a disaster candidate.
“We need a nasty Republican who isn’t a globalist or for open-borders and central planning.”
Right you are, and I would add “not a deal maker with the bad guys” (RINO’s and dems).
