I did a car tour of the US a while back, did a loop from Seattle to Chicago then down south to Andersonville, GA (infamous POW camp during the CW) and then west and up through Bryce Canyon and back to Seattle. Nice drive. I’d like to do a US 2 from Seattle east ....
Wow! That was a heck of a drive. How long did you take? One of these days, hopefully, I want to do the same thing.
BTW. I go past the Andersonville site every time I head to Florida. Anywhere East of the panhandle anyway. Haven’t visited yet. Heck I guess a lot of people would. It’s not far off I75. God’s country. Bet the Yankees that were imprisoned there didn’t call it God’s country though....
