Ha...maybe they could use the left over Greek Olympic village:
I went to Munich in the mid 70s. The Olympic grounds there were deserted except for the dorms they had converted to apartments and were trying to rent.
Meanwhile, in Atlanta, they’ve torn down the Omni (Volleyball), the Atlanta stadium (baseball) and are getting ready to tear down the Georgia Dome (basketball, team handball, and gymnastics) and the Olympic stadium (partially demolished shortly after the game; the remaining portion used for pro baseball, but now slated for the wrecking ball).
So, perhaps the Greeks are just moving a little faster in discarding things.
