Well, horror of horrors that she be (ewwwww!) Caucasian! Chalk up one more white character changed to a “better” ethnicity. Imagine if some beloved black character was played by a white actor.
Why don’t they just make whiteness illegal? Why don’t they load us onto the boxcars and get it over with?
And the thing is, here’s an idea for them: Instead of constantly remaking old ideas (and ruining them for those of us who loved the originals), how about they try coming up with new ideas? Create some new character but DON’T make the main, most interesting part of them their ethnicity.
But that would require an imagination and creativity, and these guys in TV and movie possess neither of those, evidenced by everything is a remake these days.
