Going through Bowie videos on YouTube tonight, I remember this one, that I really liked when it came out, I think this Bowie song was criminally underrated.

Notice the deliberately harsh light was that meant to accentuate Bowie’s age & frailty; Bowie’s dance moves were deliberately kind of a pathetic echo of his more robust dancing in the past (and he could actually still dance, if you look at the video for the title song of the Blackstar album); and Bowie with his old-fashioned fountain pen was frantically writing his last messages to family & friends before his demise in that dark closet - which is much like the final emails it is emerging that Bowie sent out in recent weeks, to Brian Eno & others.

Just repeating what everyone already said; it’s all about death & dying.

I’m personally opposed to death because living is nice, but that’s just me.

That was about Bowie’s brother (Terry?), who if I remember right came to a sad demise; I think it was suicide.

I will not presume to know with certainty David Bowie's fate in this matter. I will readily admit this video (and the whole "Blackstar" album, for that matter) is blasphemous and not of God. I still contend it is a powerful video. The power is in deception.
