If you were being attacked by an armed mob, would you rather have the unarmed person with you fight bravely, but futily and get himself killed and not help you, or go get people who can help you?
I think a lot of people are here are understandably thinking like free staters, where the good guys are actually allowed to have guns to protect their families. The equation is very different in a pro thug, anti-gun sinkhole like NY.
There is a major difference in the factual scenario of this incident. We are not talking about some nebulous “unarmed person,” we are talking about the girl’s FATHER! That changes the equation completely.
