I remembered hearing about an incident in MA while commuting back in 2013 and thought I hadn't heard anything more about it. Well I just did a search and sure enough....poof~

UPDATE: Seven Muslims Caught Trespassing At Quabbin Reservoir Is A “Criminal Matter”

The original story was:

In May 2013, seven Muslim “chemical engineers” were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir, a key supply of water for Boston, after midnight.

Nothing to see here....The last line in the article reads:

The Massachusetts State Police recently shared publicly their discontent with a Clerk Magistrate’s decision not to proceed with the criminal investigation of the seven individuals.

Yup, I’ve noted at least one of these types of incidents, somewhere in the US, since just prior to 9/11/2001. Always probing, checking, testing, somewhere.
