Cripes, he was diagnosed two days before he died? I guess under British Health Care his chemo would have been scheduled for 2017 anyway.

R.I.P., Lemmy. You were a great one. Can I have your Rickenbacker bass? You got yours, now I want mine.

No, some lung cancers are insidious and fast.
He thought he was suffering from altitude sickness.

He was a legend and I had the great fortune to have seen Motorhead perform live many times. Took each of my girls to a show, younger kid to a House of Blues gig in Anaheim and older kid to Club Nokia in L.A.
It’s hard to believe that he’ll never put out another album, never have another movie cameo, never do another Motorboat cruise or yell out “We are Motorhead, and we play rock and roll!” at the beginning of a show.
He was one-of-a-kind.

R.I.P. Lemmy Kilmister.
Phil Campbell (pictured right) is an awesome guitarist.

I read that they had to cut short their Denver show for that reason. No one thought it was anything more, but too late now.

Euthanized ?
I think it’s strange that we know he just found out about it... and now he’s RIP’d.
He lived (and died) in Los Angeles from what I read earlier.

He lived in the US. But, he loved Obama, so the point stands.

He didn’t find out until a few days or weeks ago that he had a very aggressive form of cancer.

He was a hardcore alcoholic that smoked two packs a day.
And who all knows what else.
RIP Lemmy.

Probably Tony Iommi (lukemia) and Ozzy (chronic party syndrome).

Man, stop talking. It was bad enough that Malcom is out of commission and now Lemmy is dead. The fragile remains of my youth can’t take much more of this in a short spell.
