"Today, the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in wide release in the United States," reported Viva Cinema to a federal judge on Friday. "The opening is widely expected to break every attendance record in history. But if you are one of over 200,000 Houstonians who understand Spanish but not English, you will be out of luck. You won’t be able to see Star Wars in Houston in Spanish — either dubbed or with subtitles — and there is one simple reason why ... "

I remember fifty five years ago a BIG MOVIE would always have a Spanish version at the El Paso, TX theaters.
And in Japan, BIG US Movies always had subtitles in Japanese.
How about a map of states where English is the official language. (by constitution or law)

The movie in Houston is not being shown in Urdu, either. Someone in Houston is probably feeling repressed.
They are PROVIDING moviegoers of "Star Wars". They are not going around making sure that nobody shows it in Spanish. If you want to see it in Spanish...then build a movie theater and do whatever you have to do to make it available in Spanish and show it in Spanish. Or go to some body else's theater that decided to do it and pay them for their troubles. Stop blaming people who actually provide something as if they are preventing you from getting something.
Them Spanish types better worry about learning the koran the way it is going.
