How is this not an act of terrorism? They can argue that it wasn’t related to any religion or terrorist group but it was by God a willful act intended to cause death, injury and terror!
Part of the script. Occasionally, as in the recent event in San Bernardino, they can’t find anyone who can say it with a straight face, or the local cops are ‘team players’. But usually, that’s one of the first things out of their mouths after a terrorist attack. In this case “Deputy Chief Brett Zimmerman” delivered. “...know this was not an act of terrorism.”
