Thanks for posting. I’ve never heard of Sissel — magnificent, especially singing w the MTC. She’s gorgeous to boot and what a great smile!
I think the Choir does an amazing professional job. They are I think volunteers, if they do get paid its not a lot.
Anyway their musicianship is top notch. They make the holiday so Joyous that even a Jewish person can appreciate their devotion to their savior, love of humanity.
I send out their music to my Christian friends to let them know I am with them all the way.
Sissel has a world class voice I hope you will play her youtube selections. Her Ave Maria solo is even better than with Domingo. She could easily be an Opera Singer if that is what she wanted. As one who listens to Opera I enjoy her singular talented voice.
Does the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ever present a concert featuring music written by fellow Mormons? Music on their CDs and hymnal are usually borrowed from non-Mormon sources. I do love the sound of large group choirs. I used to sing in 144 voice choir a few years ago.
Beautiful music by great singers, who unfortunately sing to a false god.
It’s like sugar coating on a pill of poison. The Mormon god is not the Christian God. The Christian God is the one and only God of all of creation every where and any where and for all time. He wasn’t a person who worked His way up to godhood. Mormons believe their god was a man who worked his way up into godhood. He had children with women who now populate the earth. Their god is a weird fantasy made up by Smith. They think their men can also become gods as Jesus is. They won’t tell you their true beliefs until they have hooked you. Until then they will make you think that they worship the same God as you do.
The Christian God lives in unapproachable light. He is Holy, holy, holy. He was always all powerful, all knowing and all present. He is one God in three persons, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Nobody can ever work their way up to being a god in their own right. No one is God, but God nor ever will be. He is to be worshiped forever as the only, one and only God of all.

Of course you don't know this either...because they don't tell you.
You ought to inquire. Although inquiring isn't looked upon nicely..among the brothers.
There are many, many questions that LDS, Inc...will not answer. Questions you should ponder...........
