This happened to me in college. I paid the final bill but I guess a 5 cents were added for some reason. I repaid the bill (with a check) at 7 cents. Got a 2 cent refund in the mail. lol

I think this happens when no human *brain* looks at your payment. Back in the day, when your bank sent your cancelled check by USPS back to you [B4 the digital systems to check-pay] I had a dispute, can't recall now, if it was an overage, or underage. But I called the companie's customer service ...and was told repeatedly that *IT COULDN'T BE FIXED* .

The only thing I recall, after holding for 45 mins. is screaming into the phone at some poor little rep named *Susan*, who spoke in some heavy hard to understand accent, who was fifteen thousand miles away in Bangladesh in some call center ...*What do you mean it can't be fixed. It only takes one little click by a human being to FIX this!*
