LONDON – A former meerkat expert at London Zoo has been ordered to pay compensation to a monkey handler she attacked with a wine glass in a love spat over a llama-keeper.

A judge at Westminster Magistrates' Court said Wednesday that Caroline Westlake must pay 800 pounds ($1,235) to Kate Sanders for assaulting her in a dispute over colleague Adam Davies, who had dated both women.

That’s a pretty funny article...no conventions broken that I can see. A search for zookeepers would yield minimal or no results. But a search of ‘camel’ or ‘goat’ might yield substantial hits given the Muslim situation in the world. /sarc

Seems like Mr. Davies found himself some good hunting ground. Wonder what his trophy wall looked like? Doesn’t help, though, when your prey turns on one another. But, better that they both didn’t turn on him.
