Sorry but you can't have it both ways. On one hand most of us free-market types spent decades defending these huge corporations' pursuit of profit. When the left was attacking them for making so much money, we said to butt out.

Building stuff in China is just another way for them to increase their profit margin. It's legal and, if you believe in the free market, the obvious thing to do.

I think this is a big problem.

China is a (massive) communist country. Not free.

America is the traditional freedom-supporting country. Yet the thing which made America great, was our businesses.

Those are now selling out, and going to China. Making America less powerful, and making China more powerful.

This will be a very large problem, in the future. Heck I think it’s a big problem, already.

But it seems everyone is sold out.

If a very impoverished family has an attractive young daughter it would make economic sense to prostitute her and make money. Just business right?

But as patriots, do we want to fund the Chinese military instead of ours? Do we want to support their veterans instead of ours? Or their infrastructure instead of ours? Or their space program instead of ours?

I might save a few bucks by buying something made in China in the short term, but in the long term we end up screwing ourselves.
