The only Sig I have ever had jam was a P-225. I pretty much blame it on the PMC 90 grain jhp which just was too short to be really reliable. The stuff did function perfectly in the almost identical P-226.
It did make me think that double column magazines are probably more reliable than single stack, at least with tapered rounds like the 9mm, not that there are not reliable ones such as the P-38 etc.
The gun functioned, I just couldn’t clean it until I got to my smithing tools and couldn’t use it again until the new takedown lever arrived.
I like to reload, I have 3 other pistols that are tack drivers with cast bullets, the Sig doesn’t like them and I have to shoot factory or buy jacketed rounds.
It’s not a bad gun and other than the takedown lever seizing, it probably would be a great gun for someone with different needs.
