To: Tired of Taxes
Wow. My dad would sing this song when I was a child. I can't believe I still remember it. (He wasn't born 'til the 30's, though.)

I'm a WWII baby and I remember it, mainly because I worked in saloons in my twenties that featured oldies and sing-alongs. There was a parody, though:

Call that sweet? I think she's got athletes feet,
Now I ask you very confidentially, call that sweet?

Ain't she nice, but her hair is full of lice
Now I ask you very confidentially, ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye at her infection,
Oh me oh my, that ain't perfection (she'll never pass inspection)...

LOL. I don’t remember hearing that version.

My dad also was a bartender for many years when he was young.
