Pretty much every "all you can eat" restaurant has "no sharing, no doggie bags" very clearly printed on their menus and has for years.
She's not the first person who's tried this.
It is all you can eat, not all you can give away.
That’s what I thought also. I will admit that I’ve never checked the Denny’s menu but I have seen it on others.
Stupid people like the pancake perp and writer of the article are going to end up ruining AYCE offers for everyone.

A navy buddy had a story about going to an “all you can eat $1.99” as a kid. When his dad asked or more, they said, that would another $1.99. He said but it is $1.99 all you can eat. The waitress replied, that was all you can eat for $1.99.
They used to have these all-you-can-eat offers for sushi. Not only could you not share, you also had to eat all the rice.

Waitresses typically spot families that try to cheat an all you can eat, because only one person orders food. Funnier is when they start putting food in their pockets, because they will often try to steal runny or juice food (Mmmm, a pants pocket full of pistachio pudding!). Lower down are those that steal tableware, salt and pepper shakers, condiment and artificial creamer cups
My wife and I saw a new version of this at the Boulder Station Casino Buffet in Las Vegas this past spring. A family of four was seated at the table across from us, a mother, a father, and two kids around 5 or 6. Ten minutes later, the mother was no where to be seen, and there was an older woman in her place.
Then the two little kids were replaced by two teenagers. In the course of about 30 minutes, we counted 13 people run through that table for four.
So they ate for about $3.50 each.
We also saw a guy on one of those electric scooters bypass the line after telling the cashier he was meeting someone. Later we saw him driving along the buffet line, eating as he went.
Then a little later, he replaced a guy at a table who had finished up and left. Nobody gave him a second look.
Finally sometime notes the irony of what this editor considers “bravery” - pancake larceny

Supposedly, when he was a teen, William “The Refrigerator” Perry, of Chicago Bear fame, had his picture posted in all the Howard Johnson’s in his area. It was captioned “do not seat this person, on ‘all you can eat’ nights”.
It’s “all YOU an eat”, not “all THEY can eat”.
