Go back and read the newspapers about many of the major criminal acts/killings of the past 6 months (and for Michael Brown, a year or more), and you will find that Marijuana was found in the blood of many of the shooters/killers, as was PCP, Meth, TCH, etc.
It is an unnoticed issue that drug use could have, and probably did, play a significant role in some of the most terrible violent crimes of the past year or so.
Alcohol, I suspect, was a factor in some of them, esp. when mixed with other drugs. A couple terrorists were found to have drugs in their system. I think the guy who killed three roommates in New Jersey was one of these types.
Your premise fails. If any were using marijuana, it was most likely an attempt to calm the rage within... Self-medication takes many forms, and if the Dr won't give you Prozac, you find something that works...
Demonizing can be fun for some people think the boogieman is behind every bush...
