Let PUTIN be the chef. Turkey will be in a crock pot, a nuclear one.
Sounds good.
Crock on low for eight hours. Near the end, turn crock on high and add three cups of rice. The entire meal will be ready in about 30 minutes after that.
Sooo,
Where were you before I threw away the carcass.
Just kidding WhiskeyX
Good job.
I’ll file it away for the next bird.
For the second year in a row I have served chicken and not turkey. I plan never again dealing with turkey left-overs.
Cooking up mine today, but I’m going to try roasting it first. Should be good.
Have at least 10 pounds of turkey meat to freeze to use over the next few months.

There are one or more recipes on YouTube that use turkey to make meatloaf. Perhaps there are ways to adapt cooked turkey to make turkey meatloaf. Other uses to use large amounts of cooked turkey fairly rapidly may be turkey salad similar to chicken salad; cooked turkey strips added to green salads with bleu cheese or other salad dressings; and cooked turkey added to a ketogenic green bean casserole prepared with cream, cream cheese, parmesan, and other ingredients (freezable as prepared meals).
Today is a turkey pot pie using up the gravy and with mashed potatoes and rutabagas in place of the crust on top. Then Tuesday, we’re going to have turkey lo mien but I’ll spiralize a veggie to replace the lo mien noodles. Also going to hard boil some eggs and cook up some bacon for turkey Cobb salad to have for lunch this week.
Later plans - a turkey tetrazzini made with roast spaghetti squash, a turkey hot and sour soup, stuffed peppers with turkey and tomato sauce, turkey jambalaya with kielbasa, and a turkey curry.
But I’m always looking for ways to use up turkey (or any other leftovers for that matter :-)
Homemade crockpot turkey and chicken broth is the BEST! So much better than nasty bullion cubes or canned broth.
