More reports have sprung up Friday regarding Les Miles' future at LSU, and they aren't great.
The 62-year-old coach told members of the Gridiron Club (boosters) that Saturday's game against Texas A&M will be his last at the university, according to NOLA.com and the Tiger Rag. The report says Miles said things along the lines of he'll "always be a Tiger," but he won't be with the team any longer past Saturday.

Blacksburg VA here come Miles.....
As long as Dan Mullen goes to Maryland
The talk down these parts is hes going to UM.
As a Hoosier alum, I’d love to have a coach that lost 3 games a season. We’d erect a statue of him outside Memorial Stadium and bow down before it.
Miami or Maryland?
Miami
They have not been good for a while now.
How about South Carolina or Georgia (according to Paul Finebaum)?
LSU “supervisors” are insane to cut Miles loose. I hope he stays in the SEC and takes LSU to school.
I thought they are hiring Fuente from Memphis?
That would be sweet.
He's not capable.
Hwy Les, don’t let the border stop you.
How about Mizzou, Auburn, or Memphis?
He could always be a Tiger.
LSU will right him a check for 15 Million
Mizz will have a hard time getting a coach
The IU 67 Rose Bowl team was coached by John Pont. Two years later the black players mutinied and Pont was gone. Corso’s best year was 1979 (my junior year) when he went 8-4 and beat Brigham Young (QB Jim McMahon) in the Holiday Bowl.
Corso was nuts and couldn’t coach.
My bad — in my case dementia is a wonderful thing!
Additionally this ESPN dude Shad had about 20 reports without naming a source.
Of course letting go of the coach with the best w/l % in the school's history and the disaster that had already begun to the #1 class of recruits for 2016 plus Fournette's return and an "improving" (badly needed) quarterback said to me all along "if so, why now?" and I couldn't come up with an answer.
BTW I have been a die hard LSU fan since 1958 so I've lots of firings and hirings that never happened. One was a few years ago when it was a sure thing that Les was going to Michigan...
I stayed up for the presser and Les was pretty clear that there will some staff change and that QB is a priority.
