My husband knew this lady very well, he and his cronies used to meet at the Awful Wawfle for coffee, and she always specially made a Chef Salad for him to take home to me, made specifically to my order, even down to using julienne carrots and not sliced, and she always did it with a smile and no attitude, according to my husband. I never met her, but I am shocked to learn this and sorrowful and in prayer for her family. She’d been working at various AWs on the Coast for decades and was well-known and liked by the “regulars”, according to my husband.
