Looking for tips on mulching my strawberry bed. I failed to do so last fall and the result was not good (multiple mornings I saw -33°F here in NW Pennsylvania.
I would like to save what is left of the patch. If I use pine needles can I just completely cover the plants now even though they are still green? Tips?
