and THAT is how you deal with terrorists. You exterminate them, their families, associates, their homes, businesses, etc...so they know the price to pay will be far greater than what they dish out. It's called deterrence and it works. Dispense with the negotiation / discussion bull$hit because they'll lie to you anyway. Terrorists only understand one thing and that is fear.
Notice that Putin isn’t going to sink a trillion rubles into these hellholes to make them “nice.” It’s what we should have done in Afghanistan. Go in, kill bad people, leave their bodies for the vermin, and leave.

War is supposed to be utter mayhem.
You kill them, their neighbours, their wives, their children, their goats and chickens and sheep and cows and ducks and crops and keep killing them until they BEG for mercy.
Then you keep killing them until YOU decide they might understand your message.
Then you scale back a bit, and stop killing them until they have finished paying for the destruction they brought upon themselves.
Then you ignore them.
