NATO sure looked like a fabulous idea, but only if the members carried their weight. Instead, the USA taxpayers and soldiers ( aside from "show" sorties and photo-op worthy joint actions ) are on the perpetual hook while the Euroweenies downsized and used this offset to double down on Socialism.
So we have the spectacle of NATO, designed to stopped the Communists from over-running Europe literally enabling Europe to voluntarily turn itself Socialist by freeing up their own cash saved from defense.
And all it took was for our pathetic homo-in-chief and his cabal of leftists to find and exploit the tools of freedom for their own purposes - destroying everything.

Good post. And also, notice how NATO was designed to stop an attack on Europe, but now NATO is the attacking force and is spreading the policy of the EU?
