[Thanksgiving, 2015] -- What Am I Thankful For?
Original Material | Nov 24, 2015 | By Laz A. Mataz

What am I thankful for?

The last seven years.

Yes, you read me right.

You see, Obama will be so recklessly out of control in this last year, that the last 7 years will seem like the 'good old days'.

He will close down Guantanamo, let hundreds of thousands more Islamic terrorist "refugees" into the United States, free millions more felons, snub dozens of our ally, flatter and suck up to our enemies, grant billions of taxpayer money in weapons and cash to extremist Muslim terror groups, incite as much racial violence as he can, extend amnesty to another 10 million illegal aliens, make global warming laws by fiat, expand Obamacare while sidestepping Congress, and unilaterally impose extreme gun control and bans.

And should anyone object, he and his team will begin calling anyone who opposes him, "extremists and racists", and instructing the DOJ to view them -- US -- as domestic terrorists.

It is time to tell them, "No."

I have no problem reaching back, so long as I don’t have to reach around.

I am unlikely to see another one my friend

What?

You signed up for 'send a kid to camp'?

If there is a 'list', we're likely all on it.

The real question is one of who has the most stars after their name (multiple 'list' cross references).

I am very very happy that actual candidates for President understand how bad it is. To me that is a step out of the machine.

It is nice, even this early, to not be completely out of candidates I can support (for a change).

Just once, I'd like to vote for someone for POTUS since Ronald Reagan, instead of just voting against the greater evil.

Other than designing circuit boards for radiation effect tests, no.

To all my friends who were so concerned about my offhand comment, that I shall not see another Thanksgiving:

Relax, beautifuls. I do wonder, with the world on the brink of war with Russia, if ANY of us will see next Thanksgiving. Add to that, that I am high up on 'the list'. So yes, there are concerns.

Still, I recognize that RIGHT NOW, I am sitting in front of a cup of Black Silk coffee and smell my breakfast bacon frying. I am unpacking after a very fun Thanksgiving, in which the boys and I went out back and shot the heck outta paper bad guys. Things are good RIGHT NOW.

If I stay anxious about the future, I would miss the present, and how bad would it be to be radiation-burned or in the line to the gallows, and have to think to myself, "Damn. I missed the good times."

So fret not. What will be will be. I shall remain in the present.

For your listening pleasure this morning, Crawl Out From The Fallout.

Whew...that’s a relief!

Funny how shooting up the paper bad guys changes one’s outlook.

Oh, OK.

May I have some bacon?

Not if you want to see another Thanksgiving.

If you don’t give her bacon, YOU won’t see another Thanksgiving. BELIEVE that.
