The real story is an woman abandoning her baby.
Like me many see the story about the child being saved while you see the story about a woman doing something bad and needing to be punished.
Well, as places to abandon an otherwise healthy infant, this is a pretty good one. I’m assuming the church is heated.

The real story, IMHO... is a woman who ignored all societal pressure to “rid herself of a burden”. The real story is that she chose to carry this precious child and probably delivered this innocent life on her own. The real story is that in her darkest hour of uncertainty, she chose God’s house to place her child.. knowing he would be found and taken care of. My hope and prayers for this child is that a loving family be chosen to parent and raise him.... to see him as a true blessing.
