Actually electric motors get up to speed faster than gas engines, due to instant torque. With the right electric motor it could be very fast indeed. I was quite shocked to see how quickly they do get up to speed. For this heavy car I suspect it has electric motors at each wheel. With battery technology still not sufficient enough though, my guess it that it runs maybe 20 minutes top before needing a recharge,

In other words, nothing more than an expensive toy for the rich.
