Don’t get her started on talking about China either. Her father fought the Japanese and Chinese Communists. Her parents were the only family members to escape to Taiwan.
The other family members were all tortured and either killed or sent to the interior to live in poverty. They were made an example of because they were wealthy and educated.
I have heard many stories about the civil war in China.
Does that make her and her family racists toward Chinese?
Interesting and sad history for your wife and ancestors. Glad her parents escaped. I don’t think she can be racist, though...only white people can have that designation.
