I sent a liberal teaching colleague of mine a Daniel Greenfield article, the one entitled

I already knew (and was blown away by) the knowledge that he was planning to vote for Bernie Sanders. That worried me quite a bit, considering that Sanders is total absolute moron. But then, in the face of what seems to me just plain common sense (NOT importing tens of thousands of unvetted Muzzies, especially after the Paris events), I sent him the above Daniel Greenfield article decrying Odungo's plan to import tens of thousands of unvetted Muzzies. Was this not just plain common sense?
My colleague sent me an enraged email reply:
"This is noxuous and racist. I'm not discusding this fikthy perverse cinvsersation any more."
Since he is an avid texter, preferring (to my bewilderment) texting me instead of calling me on the phone, I firmly believe that the numerous spelling errors in his reply reflect a burning haste to type out his message rather than misspellings.
Fellow FReepers: How is expressing caution and distaste for importing tens of thousands of unvetted Muzzies, ESPECIALLY after Paris events, "racist"? Muzzies come in all colors and races. Or is "racist" just the grab-for-it libtard word now for anything you don't like?
He is the racist. You view the problem from a logical standpoint. If X then Y.
It has nothing to do with race and I think everyone who believes as we do would feel the same if they were any color.
I emailed him back, "NOT TRUE!"
He just seems totally blocked to any input which is not in line with his libtard fantasies. Since Muzzies come in all colors, how can referring to them be "racist"?

If you didnt live in NYC and didnt associate with libs, you wouldn’t have to ask questions like this, and you’d be much better off. Why address the symptom when you can fix the cause?
You have to understand that an irrational person cannot be reasoned with. Particularly someone who consciously chooses to be irrational. Such as a liberal.
Just tell him that his spell checker is on the fritz.
And thing is, MOST leaders would say this. Most leaders would go over the process, would say that these are long term refugees who want to come here to start a new life, and were refugees who left well before ISIS started in strength.
Unfortunately, we have Obama. And the fact that MOST of the administration is also glossing over this means that we're right to be concerned, VERY concerned, as we could easily go from our rather long and drawn out process of just processing refugees in camps outside of Syria to importing planeloads of ‘vetted Syrian immigrants’ from Europe, AKA the illegal invasion of Europe.
Thing is, very few liberals consider this second portion, or the more ominus lack of mention of the process.
And let's be honest - the most likely ‘radicalized’ are those who were dropped in the US without that long and involved vetting and application process. Where we waived these processes for ‘humanitarian reasons.’ That's done nothing but bite us in the butt every time.
So, yes, I can understand the mindset of your liberal friend who sees racist boogiemen everywhere. And I fully understand your concerns, as repeated examples throughout Europe have amply demonstrated that fast and loose immigration leads only to bringing the horrors of the middle east wherever it goes.
My only suggestion is that your reply ‘I am severely disappointed that you've shut down the dialog in favor of your obviously biased viewpoints. I was open to discussion, and yet again, you've replied with hostility and anger.’
I also advise not being within 10 feet of the person receiving the reply, lest any spare brain matter might splatter you as their head explodes.
The clever part might be to send a Thomas Sowell column, which makes it hard for even a liberal to use the term "racist" in reply. Sowell is of course a distinguished Black conservative. I have never found him to be wrong in anything.
Most of all, you should treat the use of terms like "racist" against you as being a de facto admission that your opponent has lost the argument. You might text back something like, "Painful to be proven wrong, isn't it?" Or maybe: "That is a disappointingly trite insult. Surely you can do better when a friend is the target."
Eventually, your friendship will wither and expire, the exchanges will stop, or you may open a small crack in an otherwise closed mind. Being a conservative, you can have confidence that events will continue to offer compelling arguments in support of your views.
Explain to me how being “friends” with a libtard is of any use to anyone?
Remember that when speaking with a Leftist, while you may be discussing politics, they are discussing their religion. Their political beliefs are the tenets of their faith. Most would not change their minds even having seen their own loved ones gunned down.
Many Conservatives mistakenly believe if X were to happen, well then, surely a Leftist would see the light, surely he would understand the truth of the situation. This is because many Conservatives do not realize how spiritual Leftism is to Leftists. No. Do not expect a Leftist to ever believe his Leftism was at fault. His faith cannot be wrong. Such a thought is heresy.
Always understand even if things should happen exactly as you warned, the response will be... “YOU did this! YOU made this happen! Why did you have to antagonize .......? Why did you make ....... do this? Everything would have been fine if you hadn’t .......! This is all your fault! You and your stupid (2nd Amendment, Free Speech, strong foreign policy, secure border, etc.)”

No liberal professor like you say is going to discuss that over the phone through text or e-mail. He knows what would happen if he got caught engaging you in an actual debate. He’d be fired, and ostracized. Talk to him in person, he will be a lot more comfortable talking about it then.
Don’t cast your pearls before swine. Pray and let your life show Him in you. It’s not worth your time arguing. To them with ears, let them hear!
That’s what they do. Knee jerk emotional responses are all they can manage. Had a similar experience recently...unable to engage any logic.

Send him a return text with an appointment to meet with him and his supervisor (or mother, if this is a millenial) to discuss his claim you are racist. Take the charge of racist VERY seriously. Insist that he come to the meeting with proof of your racism.
your first comment to him should be “As a professor- you must know that ignorant name calling doesn’t help your argument one bit- and just out of curiosity, please explain to me what race a muslim is. By your logic, If I live in a mixed religion neighborhood, Regardless of what color they may be, and I lock my doors at night and NOT allow anyone in who may wish me harm, I am a racist for shutting my door to them in an effort to protect my family- is that your position sir?
