So what if all women are sexually aroused by the site of sexual images of other women? Like the article pointed out, that doesn’t mean that arousal is due to an actual desire to have sex with women. It could be something as simple as bringing sexual thoughts—heterosexual ones—to mind.
Even more, so what if the arousal is related to curiosity or even a casual (sexual) interest in other women? There’s no measure of how strong that attraction is. Pupil dilation? Big deal. There are obviously many layers of thought and emotion that go on in the human mind.
My pupils probably dilate every time I see an original, hemi-powered Cuda, but I still don’t own or even want one.
Wow. Posted by someone who thinks with their brain instead of their mouth.
I agree. All men and women have natural drives to procreate. If a woman sees a “competitor” her body would probably react as if to take the man away.
We’ve evolved so as not to react to that “urge.” Much to my dismay.
When I’m shopping, I get a surge of ‘covet’ when I see a very cool coffee maker. Same thing with nice boots. And babies and kittens...
I’m positive that my pupils dilate.
I don’t want to have sex with any of that.
When I see an attractive woman, I want her boobs and butt. I don’t *want* her boobs and butt. Big difference.
Strangely, I rarely feel that surge of ‘want’ over men and I don’t compare other men to my own husband. Attractive men are very much like a nice painting in a gallery. I can acknowledge art, but I have no desire to hang it in my living room. I’ve already got the perfect one.
(Now that I think about it, when I was shopping for a new living room set, I was drawn to many. Once I put together the perfect set and actually got it in place, other chairs and sofas have no appeal to me. Seems that I only ‘react’ when I’m ‘hunting’.)
So if all of these natural surges of ‘nest feathering’ and goals cause a physical reaction, and they’re counting this as sexual desire, then they’re stupid.
