Go to Amazon and pick up a fire piston or two. they will reliably start a fire after all your fire starting equipment is used up.
They have been in use for many years and work well.
What type do you recommend. eBay has every size, type, shape. Just MrC4E and me at home now. Interestingly enough, I have been retracting myself how to make my own bread, soups, yogurt, crackers etc. I like doing it and like the idea of eating food with less additives and preservatives.
